HOMEOPATHY: JUST GOOD MEDICINE
DUNBLANE, STIRLING, SCOTLAND, UK
Homeopathic Consultation
Your first consultation with me can take up to 2 hours. This allows me to gather as much information about you as possible. Occasionally, I may request that you complete a short questionnaire before the consultation. There are several reasons for this namely:
Your location is far from Stirling.
This may be your first experience of a Homeopathic consultation, and therefore, you are not used to the types of questions that I will ask.
You can complete it in the comfort of your own home, giving you time to think about your health.
It was created to help my patients. Existing patients advised that they found it to be very helpful.
It can be nervous meeting someone new for the first time and talking about your health concerns. It is easy to forget to mention a fact, and then suddenly realise it, when you have returned home. Further, you may have only been used to a quick 5 minute appointment with your GP, giving you very little time to talk about your symptoms. A consultation with me is a very different experience from your GP.
I have lived and worked abroad in a very busy clinic and have an understanding of language problems & cultural differences. My patient questionnaire has often assisted where the spoken word has been difficult.

Why does a consultation take so long?
I need to learn as much as possible about you & take into account your genetic make-up & inheritances. I am not just interested in your physical symptoms or your emotional symptoms. You are far more complex than that!
Highlighted below are the areas that I focus upon during the consultation.
- PHYSICAL MAKE UP - such as hair, features, weight etc.
- MENTAL MAKE UP - such as your basic nature, emotions, sensitivity etc.
- GENERAL MAKE UP - such as thirst, appetite, thermals etc.
- DISEASE MAKE UP - clinical information & diagnostic test results.
REMEMBER HOMEOPATHY TREATS YOU AND YOUR DISEASE
When do I get the medicine and how do I take it?
After your consultation has finished I need to work on your case. This can take a great deal of time depending upon the complexity of it. Once my analysis has finished & the remedy or remedies are decided upon, you will be provided with a link to a UK Homeopathic Pharmacy. You will be given exact details on what to order, pill size, potency, bottle size & when & how to take your remedy/ies. I usually see you again 28 days later, however, I have cases, where a 28 day period is too long due to the nature of what I am dealing with.
Any side effects and can I continue with my conventional medicine?
Homeopathic medicines have no side effects above a 12c potency. The term 'side effects of a medicine' comes from modern pharmacology. Conventional drugs are made up of CRUDE DRUG MOLECULES hence why you experience adverse side effects. Homeopathic drugs are made from the MOLECULAR INPRINTS of the drug molecule.
If you are on any prescriptive/conventional medication you must continue. Once I see how you are progressing, over time, and where possible, a gradual reduction of your medication may be made. It is important that you maintain a good relationship with your GP/Consultant and advise her/him that you are using Homeopathy. Further, I may deem it necessary that you have diagnostic tests done and that can only be carried out by the GP/Consultant. The aim is to get you off all medication including Homeopathic medicine where at all possible!
PLEASE NOTE YOUR GP IS RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR PRESCRIPTIVE/CONVENTIONAL MEDICATION & ANY REDUCTIONS SHOULD BE DISCUSSED WITH THEM FIRST.
